Pat Maher

Dublin based logistics geek Pat Maher was most recently co-area head of operations for Dublin 2019—An Irish Worldcon, and 2016 chair of Octocon, the Irish national convention.

Zoe Deterding

Zoe has been attending conventions since 1983 and was Social Media Deputy Area Head for Dublin 2019. She has been able to combine her love of fiber arts and her love of Doctor Who into some stunning scarves.

David McIntee

David is a Scottish author whose works include Doctor Who audio episodes and novels, notably Indistinguishable from Magic (2011). He has also written in the universes of Space: 1999, Star Trek and Sherlock Holmes (A Study in Steampunk), and published nonfiction guides to film worlds such as Alien and Predator.

Diana ben Aaron

Diana has been hanging out with fans since high school and has finally accepted that we no longer have classes and together and have to meet up at cons. She was Press Area Head at Dublin 2019.

Alison Scott

Alison Scott has been attending conventions since 1984 and running them since 1986. She's also a fan writer, editor and artist. As a member of the Plokta cabal she has won the Best Fanzine Hugo twice, and has won awards for her fan art as well as for her fanzines.

Rhianna Pratchett

Rhianna Pratchett is a video game writer and journalist. In the video games world she's particularly known for Tomb Raider, Overlord, and Bioshock; she's also written Tomb Raider for Dark Horse comics.

Tade Thompson

Tade Thompson is a writer, medical doctor and psychiatrist who also studied social anthropology.

Making Wolf (2015) was his first novel, a mystery story based around a supermarket store guard returning from London to solving a murder in West Africa. It won the 2015 Kitschies Golden Tentacle (for best debut novel). It has been optioned by Big Talk Productions to be developed for TV.

Alice Lawson

Alice is a valued advisor, and brings a vast tome of convention running knowledge. She was chair of Loncon 3, and has been involved in many Eastercons and other conventions.

Doug Spencer

Doug has a long fannish CV that ranges from conrunning to performing. He has been known to talk on the subjects of science and food, ranging from “cooking with chocolate” to “cooking with brains”. He has also appeared in diverse fannish panel games such as “Unseen University Challenge” or “Just a Fannish Minute”. Doug has appeared in Ian Sorenson’s fan musical productions, irritating him immensely by getting more laughs than him. Two Worldcons have seen Doug be Party Reporter and he has produced some (excellent) fanzines. His cosplay is both fun and brave.
